Ingredients:
aqua: Distilled water
shea butter: A moisturizing, soothing emollient fat
(from the karite nut tree) with cellular renewal properties.
caprylic/capric triglyceride: Emollient, has good
spreading properties, promotes penetration and pigment dispersions. From
coconut oil.
coco-caprylate/caprate: From coconut. A lubricant,
skin conditioner, anti-microbial emollient.
salicylic acid (2%): Softens the keratinized
barrier cells, anti-bacterial, helps eliminate clogged pores, beta-hydroxy
acid responsible for oxygenating and detoxifying. From pumpkin seeds.
cetearyl alcohol: An emulsifying and stabilizing
wax produced from the reduction of plant oils and natural waxes. Also an
emollient giving viscosity to a finished product.
vegetable glycerine: A humectant and emollient from
plants. It absorbs moisture from the air, and helps keep moisture in creams
and other products.
lavender essential oil: Excellent source of zinc
and essential fatty acids. It helps skin renew as it moisturizes.
lecithin: A natural emollient, emulsifier,
antioxidant, and spreading agent, with a hydrophilic ingredient that
attracts water and acts as a moisturizer.
glyceryl stearate: An emulsifier that assists in
forming neutral, stable emulsions. It is also a solvent, humectant, and
consistency regulator in water-in-oil and oil-in-water formulations.
xanthan gum: Stabilizer and thickener from
cornstarch.
ginger essential oil: anti-inflammatory, warming.
peppermint essential oil: Refreshing, cooling.
tangerine essential oil: Sweet, sparkling fresh,
lively aroma that inspires, strengthens, and cheers ones spirits. Great for
relieving tension, fear, sadness, irritability, and insomnia.
bromelain: Keratin (protein) digesting enzyme from
pineapple.
vitamin E (D-alpha-tocopherol): Vitamin E is a
powerful antioxidant, free radical scavenger, photo-protectant, and
moisturizer as well as a preservative due to its ability to protect against
oxidation.
lemon essential oil: Antibacterial, antiseptic.
grapefruit essential oil: Light fruity, fresh
aroma, stimulates neurotransmitters that give wings to feelings and a slight
euphoria. It promotes renewed zest for life, lightness and well-being.
clove essential oil: Antiseptic, analgesic (relives
pain), germicide and anti-inflammatory.
boswellic acid: A group of triterpenoid compounds
present in Boswellia serrata (Indian frankincense) extract. They are potent
anti-inflammatory agents used to alleviate arthritis since biblical times.
D-beta-fructan: Chains of glucose molecules from
date palm that boost immunity of the skin and build moisture. Escorts
