Ingredients:
aqua (water):
Distilled water.
glycerin: A humectant and emollient from plants. It absorbs moisture
from the air and retains it.
algae extract (pepha-tight): Stimulates skin connective tissue which
tightens. From micro algae.
albumen: Tensor and protection for the skin.
kaolin: Orginally came from the Kaoling Hill in Kiangsi Providence in
China. A white powder insoluble in water and absorbent. This remarkable clay
has electromagnetic qualities and attracts oils, environmental poisons and
particles left on the skin.
hamamelis virginiana (witch hazel): Derived from the Hamamelis
Virgina, AKA Witch Hazel tree. Its properties include antihistaminic,
antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and antibacterial.
caprylic/capric triglyceride: Emollient, has good spreading
properties, promotes penetration and pigment dispersions. From coconut.
stearic acid: Emulsifier and thickening agent, pearlizing substance,
lubricant, softens the skin. From cascarilla bark and vegetable lipids.
xanthan gum: AKA cornstarch gum. Serves as a texturizer, carrier
agent and gelling agent. Also stablizers and thickens formulations.
cetyl alcohol: An emollient, emulsifier and thickener produced from
palm oil.
anona cherimolia (cherimoya) fruit extract: Increases cell metabolism
and turn over, retains cell turgor and assists in evening skin tone.
garcinia mangostana (mangosteen) peel powder: Powerful antioxidant,
anti-inflammatory, relieves symptoms associated with eczema.
euterpe oleracea (acai) fruit extract: Amazonian fruit with powerful
antioxidant properties; 20 times more powerful than antioxidant activity
found in red wine.
glycol distearate: Thickener and pearlizing agent from cascarilla
bark and butter acids.
caffeine: Antioxidant, minimizes conditions associated dermatitis.
myrciaria dubia (camu camu) fruit extract: High in flavonoids,
Vitamin C
tabebuia impetiginosa (pau d’arco) bark extract: Anti-inflammatory.
allantoin: Healing, soothing, and believed to aid in the healing of
damaged skin by stimulating new tissue growth. Derived from the comfrey root
d-alpha-tocopherol: A powerful antioxidant, free radical scavenger,
and a natural sunscreen. One of nature's most dynamic moisturizers. Aids
cellular renewal. Healing, improves skin elasticity, firmness and tone.
Vitamin E is a major anti-oxidant nutrient that retards cellular aging due
to oxidation. Made from vegetable sources, it repairs & prevents damage to
the skin. Is excellent for cuts & scars.
beta vulgaris (beet) root extract: Antioxidant
croton lechleri (dragon’s blood) resin extract: Antiseptic, healing
camellia sinensis (green tea) leaf extract: A powerful antioxidant
from green tea
passiflora incarnata flower extract: Calming for the skin. From the
passion flower petal
organic oils of citrus paradisa (pink grapefruit) oil: Antibacterial
and antioxidant properties.
citrus grandis (white grapefruit) peel oil: High in Vitamin C,
antioxidant and antibacterial properties.
citrus sinensis var. sanguina (blood orange) oil: Anthocyanins
provide potent antioxidants to compliment the high levels of Vitamin C found
in all
citrus sinensis (sweet orange) oil: Rich in Vitamin C, antioxidant.
citrus aurantifolia (lime) oil: Antiseptic, aids with circulation,
tones skin, detoxifies and clears skin of accumulated waste material
dimethicone: Extracted from rocks and sand. It is tolerated by the
most sensitive skins, slows moisture loss. Strengthens connective tissue and
skin.
titanium dioxide: Softens skin and has powerful antibacterial
properties.
gluconolactone: Excellent antioxidant. Great for all skin types
especially sensitive. Helps protect the skin against UV radiation.
sodium benzoate: A natural preservative.
xanthan gum: AKA corn startch gum. Thickens formulas.
behenyl alcohol: a mixture of fatty alcohols acting as a binder,
emulsion stabilizer, thickener and emulsifier. From vegetable oil.
